Chamonix is one of the greatest off-piste ski centers in the alps, it is world-renowned for its mountains, glacier skiing and easy access to wonderful off-piste and ski touring terrain.

It is a great center to also explore resorts in Italy including Courmayeur and those in the Aosta Valley, Verbier and resorts in the Swiss Rhone Valley and the resorts that surround Mont Blanc like Megeve and Les Contamines which offer some really good off-piste skiing and ski touring possibilities.
 

At Smart Mountain Guides we pick where to ski based on the best conditions and what suits your ability and desires. All our guides are internationally qualified holding the highest professional qualification the IFMGA or UIAGM qualification, they are English-speaking, and very talented and friendly mountain people.

We take bookings on a private basis only for individuals, couples and small groups of friends and families; we do not put together groups of individual skiers with a guide for off-piste skiing.  If you are interested in booking a day or more with us, then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

If conditions and weather are good during the time you book, we can take groups of up to 4 people heli-skiing in Switzerland and/or Italy.  This option can be added on at any time.  The pricing varies depending on where we fly and is in addition to the regular daily guide price.

Some days out to ski in other resorts maybe subject to an additional charge for transportation.
